Participant in The Run 2016

When I walk into The School KFI, I see
Children running barefoot amongst the trees under the vast blue sky.
Dribbling a ball, climbing a tree, throwing a frisbee
Without the thought of winning or losing - joyfully running by

All their energies focussed on playing and learning together, helping each other
Studying and absorbing in classrooms beyond what the textbooks prescribe
Gearing up for life than just preparing for an examination.

Children, respected and accepted for who they are.
Teachers, passionate and mindful that they are shaping the next generation.

When I walk into The School KFI, I see
What the world could be -
A peaceful, compassionate place - free of judgements, fear and competition.

I am fortunate to have this environment for my children and wish it is available to many more. I believe that schools like The School need to be supported as they are changing the way education is understood in our country.

The School has to move out of its current premises as their land lease is expiring. I am running 10 kms in the Wipro Marathon to raise funds for the school to help them  relocate and re-create a meaningful learning environment.
