Participant in The Run 2016

It is said that 'education is the soul of a society'. Being a parent of The School-KFI, I feel that this is a place where my son is having a meaningful education - a place where there is no fear, where there is no competition or comparison. A place where he has the opportunity to flower in all his natural goodness. I feel this kind of learning is what will help him figure out his inner self, and learn to appreciate the outward world. Because without knowing what is within, his understanding of what is outside may not be clear or complete.

As the school is moving on a relocation path, our deep desire is to be able to uphold this nurturing environment so that my son and many, many like him will have a chance, an opportunity to grow with complete awareness-both inner and outer. The intent here is to preserve, to keep intact a place where the mind is without fear. It is only then, that true education happens.

I run regularly. It is both a passion and a meditation. By running for The School fund raising, I am endeavouring to bring together two things very close to my heart - a place where my son is getting a meaningful education; and an activity I am passionate about.

I would like to thank all of you who have taken the effort to read my cause. I appeal to everyone to help support my cause and contribute generously so that this integral part of our society, our world can be preserved.
