The new academic year sees some important change of roles in school. Jayashree Nambiar has taken over as Principal, The School on June 1, 2009.

In the role of Director, The Chennai Education Centre, G. Gautama will oversee The School, Pathashaala campus at Vallipuram and the Outreach Projects. He will continue on the faculty of The School and reside on the campus.
