ADMISSIONS - PROCEDURE

Classes I to IX

The below information is for the previous academic year. This page will be updated for the next academic year in February 2012

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2011-12.

FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2012-13, REGISTRATION FORMS WILL BE ISSUED FOR CLASSES I, V, XI from 18th to 28th February, 2012. Registration forms for other classes are issued against vacancies. The list of classes in which there are vacancies will be put up on 18th February, 2012.

• Parents may register for admission from 18th February to 28th February, 2012.
• Last date for receipt of completed registration forms is 28th February, 2012 (4:00 pm).
• Registration, however, does not guarantee admission, as class sizes are limited.
• Meeting for parents and students with staff of the school will be scheduled in March.
• The student does not need to be coached for the visit to school.
• Minimum age criteria for entry into Classes I, II, III, IV :
• Class I : 5 years 6 months on 1st June, 2012
• Class II : 6 years 6 months on 1st June, 2012
• Class III : 7 years 6 months on 1st June, 2012
• Class IV : 8 years 6 months on 1st June, 2012
• Registration Fees : Please send a Demand Draft for Rs 300/- in favour of “The Chennai Education Centre - KFI” and payable at Chennai towards registration fees, alongwith the registration form.  Please mention the child's name and class applied for at the back of the demand draft.
• We will acknowledge by email the receipt of the registration form for your child and allocate the registration number after receipt of the demand draft towards the registration fees.
• All correspondence will be done by email as far as possible.

Tentative dates for meetings at school are as follows:-

• Class I - IV               - 1st and 2nd week of March, 2012                     
• Class V - IX              - 2nd and 3rd week of March, 2012
• Please make necessary arrangements to be present on the date of the meeting. It shall not be possible to change the date.

The Registration Form for Admission can be dowloaded and completed between 18th February and 28th February, 2012. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read the form (can be downloaded free of cost). The printed copy of the Registration Form should be sent to the school along with registration fees (details are given in the registration form). The registration form will be processed only after the receipt of fees.
The Registration Form shall also be available at the School from 18th to 28th February, 2012.
